OUESD is a Safe Haven School District

The Board of Trustees adopted Resolution No. 2016-17/24 declaring the Oakley Union Elementary School District as a Safe Haven School District for students and families. This resolution is intended to serve as a reaffirmation that our District takes the safety and well-being of all students seriously.  You can view the Resolution by clicking HERE.

2018 Laurel Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Laurel School's 2018 Teacher of the Year, Lisa Odom. Mrs. Odom has taught at Laurel for 23 years. She is our Transitional Kindergarten teacher. We are very lucky to have her teaching at Laurel.

Spring has sprung, school is fun. Be on time.
Being late to school may lead to poor attendance. Attending school regularly and getting there on time helps children feel better about school, and themselves.

For every day of school missed, it takes three days to make up what was taught. Families should avoid extended vacations that require your children to miss school.
